and (C) to engage in other activities to support the community’s charitable
purposes. Our primary goal is to HAVE FUN in the company of others.
As community BPIA members we are all responsible for mission success!. And it happens when we all agree to certain standards of civility. That’s what a Code of Conduct is, a promise to each other that we will be respectful, polite and strive to increase our community unity without harming others. We expect all members and their guests to adhere to this Conduct whether one has signed this Code or not.
So…to that end, by submitting your membership dues and/or signing below, you agree to:
1. Read and be familiar with the BPIA bylaws and this Code of Conduct
2. Follow all BPIA bylaws, procedures, and policies.
3. Be civil at all times: no rudeness or loud argument; no discrimination on any basis ; no expression of religious beliefs or non-beliefs; no abusive language and no rude behavior at all BPIA functions, events or gatherings
4. Limit both alcohol and legal drugs at the Pot Lucks to reasonable consumption of wine, beer and legal drugs which may be provided by members individual; no hard alcohol. Remove all leftovers and all containers or wrappings from the BPIA premises.
5. Follow BPIA’s Gun Policy. Guns and weapons are NOT ALLOWED at BPIA events (unless there is a Board -planned gun-friendly event). If in doubt, ask a Board Member beforehand, but bringing a gun without Board permissions will result in termination of membership. Weekly summer potlucks and picnics are gun-free!. No conceal carry at BPIA events or in its buildings.
6. Follow the highest level of Health Safety recommendations published by the USA, CO, and JeffCo. If masks are requested by the Board, pot luck hosts or building user, wear one!
