Summer 2023 Potlucks
The BPIA traditionally hosts activities and potluck dinners at the BPIA Community Hall in June, July and August. Activities are open to the public. Attendees are encouraged to bring families and visiting guests, and a dish to share for eight to ten people. Some dinners include social time with no program, others include a presentation or activity. Can’t bring a dish to share? Join us anyway! We value your company. July 29: Bad Boys & Bawdy Girls If you are looking for the tales of well-mannered gentlemen and swooning ladies with rose-scented handkerchiefs, this isn’t it. Denver’s earliest tales were almost never written by gentlemen, and polite company doesn’t even discuss those kinds of ladies. The shady ladies and killer cowboys are gone, so let’s dig into their stories in safety with last summer’s highlight: Kevin Snow, co-founder of Treasure Box Tours, a Denver-based tour and travel company.
